Terms of Service
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Oulha, the voice dictation app for Mac, and oulha.com. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Oulha.
1. What Oulha does
Oulha turns what you say into written text and types it where your cursor is. It can change the style of what you wrote, follow a spoken instruction to edit selected text, and learn the words you use. Results come from speech recognition and AI, so they can contain mistakes. Read important text before you send it.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google, Apple or a code sent to your email. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Keep access to your email secure, and tell us at support@oulha.com if you think someone else used your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 13.
3. Plans, trial and payment
- Free: 2,000 words a week with every feature. The words reset every Monday.
- Pro: unlimited words, billed monthly or yearly. Every new account starts with a 7-day Pro trial; no card is needed for the trial.
- Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Polar processes your payment and sends the receipts; we never see or store your card details. Prices are shown before you pay, and taxes may apply where you live.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Settings → Account → Manage subscription. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: if Oulha isn't right for you, write to support@oulha.com within 7 days of a charge and we'll refund it.
- To keep the service fair and affordable, unusually heavy automated use may be limited.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Oulha to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, to record people without the permission the law requires, or to try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Your content
What you say and write is yours. We don't store your voice or the messages you dictate (see the Privacy Policy). Your settings, Dictionary, snippets and styles are stored so they can sync across your Macs, and you can delete them at any time by deleting your account.
6. Changes and availability
We're improving Oulha all the time, so features may change. We aim to keep the service running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. If we make important changes to these terms, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
7. Ending
You can stop using Oulha and delete your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms.
8. Liability
Oulha is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.
