Delete your account
Last updated 2 November 2026
You can delete your Oulha account, and everything stored with it, at any time. Deleting it can't be undone.
1. In the app
- iPhone or Android: open the Oulha app, go to Account → Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm.
- Mac or Windows: open Settings → Account → Delete account, type the word it asks for, and confirm.
2. Without the app
Write to support@oulha.com from the email you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm the request comes from you, delete the account, and tell you by email when it's done.
3. What is deleted
Your account and everything saved with it on our servers: your dictations and their audio, your Dictionary, snippets, styles, Transforms and settings. The copies on your devices are deleted when you sign out or remove the app. On iPhone, the sign-in token can stay in the Keychain after you remove the app; the app deletes it the first time it opens after being installed again.
4. What is kept
- Quality samples ("Help improve Oulha for everyone") carry no name, email or account, so deleting your account can't reach them. To ask us to remove one, write to support@oulha.com.
- Dictations you flagged and support messages are kept for up to 90 days, as the Privacy Policy says.
- Store subscription markers: if you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, we keep a note that the subscription belonged to a deleted account, with no name, email or account id, for 400 days, so late notices from Apple or Google are ignored.
5. Subscriptions
Deleting your account cancels a Pro subscription paid through Polar or Google Play. Apple doesn't let us cancel an App Store subscription: cancel it first in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or from Account → Manage subscription in the Oulha app on iPhone.
